Booking conditions

Paajoki rental cottages adheres to the following conditions when booking and canceling accommodation services. The booking conditions come into effect immediately after the booking is made. The booker must be of legal age.

Booking and payment

Paajoki rental cottages sends the customer a confirmation of the reservation by email, which contains the address to the key collection point and other information. Advance payment (25% of the accommodation portion) is due 7 days after the reservation is made and the rest four weeks before the start of the reservation. If there is less than six weeks before the start of the reservation, the entire amount is due to be paid in one go. If the cancellation of the rental takes place after the reservation fee has already been paid, we will return the amount if we can still rent the object. Otherwise, the reservation fee will not be refunded.

Cancellations

Cancellation must always be made in writing to the lessor’s email address. The cancellation is considered to have taken place the moment we receive information about the cancellation. Failure to pay the invoice is not a cancellation.

If the reservation is canceled because the customer or a close relative living in the same household becomes seriously ill, has an accident or dies, the customer is entitled to get his money back. The cancellation must be made without delay and a medical certificate must be submitted to Paajoki rental cabins for the reason for the cancellation. If the cancellation occurs later than 48 hours before the start of the reservation period or during the reservation, the payment made by the customer will not be reimbursed.

Paajoki’s rental cabins have the right to cancel the reservation

The lessor has the right to cancel the reservation if the payment has not been made by the due date.

If water, fire or any other unexpected damage occurs in the rental cabin before the start of the rental period, the lessor has the right to cancel the reservation. In this case, the customer has the right to get back the rent he paid.

Paajoki rental cottages will not pay the rent back if an unforeseeable phenomenon occurs (storms, natural phenomena, power outages, etc.) over which the lessor cannot influence.
